I'm Ally, a physiotherapist working in the NHS and the football industry. Alex was my mentor when I was a young physio, and took me under his wing when I first started my career.
He was a force of nature. Whenever I have a moment of crisis, whether that's professionally or personally, I always think - what would Alex do? That always gets me through. If I can be half the person and the professional that he was, I'll be okay.
On this celebration day, I'll be spending some time thinking about my mentor, Alex, and all the wonderful opportunities he's presented me since his passing.
