Last year to mark celebration day, the National Trust created two dedicated woodlands in partnership with the Times, inviting 5,000 of their readers to plant a tree in memory of a friend or family member as a way of giving them a “living legacy”.
There’s so much we can learn from the amazing people who came before us. So, together with The Day, we’re looking for inspiring stories.
The competition is free to enter and open to learners aged 5-18 in the UK., and there are some amazing prizes to be won.
